Kitten and baby

I have a 7 week old baby and an 8 week old kitten. The kitten is very interested in the baby and seems to want to join in with breastfeeding. She climbs all over me and the baby and meows while I'm feeding. Does she think I'm her mum?! Always had cats but never come across this before. I feel bad that she's confused! Should I give her some kitten milk? Any other advice please?

8 weeks is young, she's probably only been weened a few weeks & knows your feeding.

I'd just give kitten food, she's going to grow pretty rapidly in the next 4 months & needs on demand feeding.

No advice but kitten and baby the same age = mega aw! So cute!

8 weeks is still so young. I rescued a kitten at about 5 weeks once - she was a street cat and already on solid food but she would 'nurse' on my bottom lip. She did that until she was about 7 months old - due to being separated from her mum too young I think.
