So in the course of a move out to Dubai I have had my arm twisted by a friend who rescues and fosters out there into taking on a mum and her single kitten (girl) who were found abandoned.

I'm yet to meet them but am leaning towards Kinsey for the kitten, though am thinking of something maybe more traditional/Arabic for mum considering where we'll be living?

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated Flowers

Oh and have attached a pic of mum with some other orphaned kittens that have just been picked up, apparently she's doing a stellar job as a foster mum Star

Bissy is 'puss cat' in Arabic.

No name suggestions as I don't know much about Arabic names, but what a wonderful cat that is - I'm bowled over by her fostering skills! Look forward to hearing what you decide to name her.

I'm totally bagging this as the name for my first cat, but I love it. Muezza. It was Mohammed's cat, and she was a tabby.

I'd forgotten about the M for Mohammed on their foreheads Smile

Yes call her Kinsey. She's adorable.

OP,

Vega (VAY-guh, like Suzanne!) could not be more perfect for her:

In astronomy, Vega is one of the brightest stars...as you say, she certainly is doing a stellar job as a foster Mum. Star

But, very aptly, its Arabic name meaning is "falling" or "landing": thus Falling Star, the other name for a shooting star...lovely image. Smile

She and little one are both beautiful: they deserve a happy new life with you, after such a rocky time.
