I've been very stupid - should I pack my knapsack?

I've been very stupid but my mums reaction was just horrid. I went out exploring yesterday, as I often do. I had spent the day sunbathing and stuffing my face and generally making a nuisance of myself so when my mum finally told me to bugger off I took her advice.

I did a bit of garden hopping and attempted to pop into the lovely neighbours who always nearly always leave snacks laying around but they had gone out. I looked through the windows and hung around for a bit but then got bored so decided to explore the other gardens. Somebody had left their shed open and it looked like there may be some interesting things for me to look at and play with so I went in. Oh, it was lovely and there were lots of things that took my interest and I spent ages snooping. There was a lovely dark box with an old cushion and it smelt all spidery and lovely so I snuggled into it and had a little nap. When I woke up it was dark and I couldn't get out. I tried shouting really loudly (my mum says I've got the loudest gob she's ever heard). I had to stay there for ever and ever and I was hungry.

A hooman opened the door at mid-day and I ran all the way home as I was really starving hungry. I ran into the kitchen and shouted for my mum. She just looked at me and laughed pointing at the cobwebs all over my head. Even my furry ginger brother gave me a sniff before going back to sleep and he hates me. Personally I think this is really cruel and hurtful. Should I pack my knapsack and go NC?

If I were you I'd just lay low a while.

Be sure to keep pouncing on their feet though. Hoomins love that and they'll be sure to forget all about The Event.

Meow.

give them half a mouse to apologise.

Why on earth should you have to pack a knapsack, unless you mean you'd be packing yout hoomans' things into a bag and sending them off to think about what they've done wrong.

You've obviously been brainwashed. Of COURSE you had to investigate that shed, the hoomans would not have been very happy if there's been lots of micies living in there and you'd just ignored them. Just because it wasn't in your garden doesn't mean you shouldn't keep an eye on other sheds in the vicinity. It wasn't your fault you were shut in there like that. You have nothing to feel sorry for. You were obviously in need of a nap after all your adventuring. What your hoomans should have done, as soon as they realised that you hadn't come home, was to climb over the fences themselves and come looking for you. Not wait for you to turn up close to death. That's utterly terrrible behaviour on their part.

I think you need to lay down the law. Make sure to stay by their side constantly for the next wee while. Don't forget to use your claws if they look like they're going to abandon you. They need to be with you at all times to maximise their learning opportunities.

Oh, and you need to wash their mouth out with soap and water. They shouldn't use such naughty words in your vicinity!
