Cats eyes gone strange

This is strange one had my cat since February he's about 9 months old, I've noticed he's started to look very strange his eyes are very long his pupil is on long really thin, my son hit the nail on the head he said he looks like an alien his eyes were definitely not like this all along he's eating well playing with his sister and all has he just changed now or is he sick?

What breed is he - and has he seen the vet about it?

Aren't cats' eyes like humans in that the pupil expands in dim light to let more light in? Cats' pupils go long and thin in bright light so is it just that the better weather means you're now noticing this?

Are his pupils actually different shapes? (I was semi-interpreting your OP.)

He's an ordinary cat short haired normal domestic cat, but he looks like those Spynx cats today I think he hasn't been to the vet cause I only noticed last night both eyes are the same I'll try to post a picture

You certainly did. I'd say he's not just and 'ordinary DSH' - and his eyes don't look quite right to me. Maybe that's just me - and knowing that you have a slight concern - but...... Is he due to be vetted anytime soon?

The week we got them we got them neutered and bloods were checked he's not in bad form he just looks strange.

Ah well. It's difficult to tell from a photo. When is he due to go in for a booster?
