Fucking shitty day :-(

My little boy who was only nine months old took ill on Sunday. Turned out he had FIP and I made the decision this evening to have him put to sleep I can't believe it.

He was a rescue kitten found starving at the side of the road next to his dead mother, he's had such a short life. He was the most gorgeous, loving, happy little cat and he's gone

One week on and it's tough

My house is horribly empty without him; he was one of those cats that rocked in and lit the whole place up with his daft personality. I miss him so much.

He was a little tiny whirlwind that caused havoc everywhere he went.

I'm so despondent now taking in waifs and strays, lost one last year to FIV and now this one with FIP.

I'm so sorry. It's always hard to lose them. I hope it is some comfort that you gave him a wonderful life with you.
