Best litter, preferably clumping?

I'm on a mission to find a good clumping litter that doesn't track everywhere. Have tried cats best oko plus and it was terrible for making its way round the house although it did contain smells well. I am using a cheap bentonite one from a local shop but not sure if there are better ones you can recommend.

Sainsbury's Ultra Clumping. Has to be Ultra Clumping, the other stuff just doesn't cut it.

I'm really happy with World's Best Cat Litter, clumps well and doesn't smell. It's not cheap though... Took me ages to find a good one and I'm sticking with it.

Nearest sainsbury is about 10/12 miles away. Wonder if any of the other makes are any good

Aldi clumping litter works pretty well.

What is the difference (not the obvious one 😆) between clumping/non?

I'm using non clumping catsan right now and we are going through way more than I anticipated, a bag per 8/9 days? I don't think I overfill but I do change /clean out as soon as she's been as I'm worried about smell.

I found catsan got smelly very quickly as you can't remove pee easily. Clumping litter lets you remove clumps of pee as well as poop so the litter stays fresher for longer

We use a coloured one from pets at home. Doesn't smell at all.

Oh that's a great idea. Did I read clumping was dangerous for them injesting or have I got it mixed up?

Intersand extreme classic is amazing. Scoop daily and full change monthly. No smell what so ever.

£12.99 for a 15kg bag from zoo plus if they do economy packs. A bag lasts ages.

Intersand professional classic from zooplus is the only one I'll use.

Do you use the scented one?

Anyone ever tried the superbenek corn cat litter from zoo plus? Looks more lightweight than clay based ones

Worlds best for us too. The green pack. I love it, I also hated the catsan pee smell 🤢

Lurking. I use the cats best but Ollie does manage to spread it everywhere. Thank god for a cordless dyson

I use cats best Oko plus & yes, it does track a bit, but I think the pluses (no smell, easy scooping, flushable, compostable) outweigh the tracking problems
I've now got these mats which stay put & do catch quite a lot of the bits off paws

I second Sainsbury's Ultra-Clumping. The cheapest I have used and also the best. You could order online if there isn't a Sainsbury's near you.

I don't use clay of any kind as it can be swallowed (on paws etc.) and clog up in the digestive system, especially with kittens and small cats. Also combined with fur can be a problem bringing up furballs.

I find Worlds Best is fine and smells weird, tracks a lot more than OKO Cats Best. I buy OKO Nature Gold which is similar but is in pellet form and doesn't track all over the place.

I use the superbenek one. I find it's good value and clumps well. No dust tracking all over the house. The only other one I've ever used was, I think, a supermarket own clumping. Which was good and was lighter, but very dusty and didn't last anywhere near as long. The superbenek one I lift the clumps daily and complete change once a week. Indoor cat with closed box and filter. We don't have any smell issues.

Have bought a 40l bag of superbenek and have started mixing some in with the usual litter. They better use it as I've got hundreds to use up now!

I've tried loads and would only use OKO cats best, it's pricey but you only have change the whole lot monthly.

It literally clumps the wee into a ball which you scoop out and poo seems to dry out. It has to be 5cm deep which seems a lot but it's brilliant!

I've never smelt a thing and I get mine from PAH or Zoo Plus, you won't regret it.

I find all litter tracks but OKO wasn't that bad IMO.

I did try it and it was terrible for tracking so wouldn't use it again. Am trying the superbenek corn one and it's like tiny pellets so less likely to wander round the house
