Indoor spraying - does Feliway work?

I've just moved countries with our two rescue cats.

Our girl has been fine, but our boy has been spraying everywhere. It's becoming quite upsetting as I don't know what to do to soothe him. I've read that this can be a reaction to a stressful situation, so I'd be interested to hear from those who've used Feliway in this way and whether this works?

I had the cats checked over by the vet before we moved here, topped up vaccinations etc, so don't think it's medical. I give him lots of attention etc but I just don't think he's settling in well. He's moved from a big house to a flat. I'm fretting that he's unhappy and I'm not sure what else to do

Has he been neutered?

Yes he had been when we got him. I read that neutering at a later stage may have an impact on this, perhaps that fact isn't helping.

It's probably worth a try. Have you used an enzyme cleaner where he's sprayed? Stops a cat going back to spray there again as they can't smell the urine.

Place marking with interest.

Our girl sprays in the house all the time and it's driving us bonkers. She's ruining expensive wooden furniture that I love and making me very sad.
We've tried Feliway - no effect
Lemon oil - some improvement but not stopped completely

We shout at her if we see her doing it and she knows it's bad, we never allow other people's pets in the house and she has a secure electronic cat flap so I don't understand why she feels the need to do this. It's usually on the sofa, the tv cabinet, antique bookcase, the kitchen bin, sometimes other places, I'd be grateful if someone has a solution.

Haven't used an enzyme spray, haven't seen those here. We use a 70% alcohol disinfectant to clean up and I can't smell anything and he hasn't sprayed in those places again.

I'm going to stock up on that and Feliway when I'm back in the U.K. in a few weeks. Spike its very upsetting isn't it? DH is less tolerant than me so I'm hoping the spray/Feliway works.
