Cat grooming me

My male cat keeps sitting behind me when I'm on the couch and grabbing my head with both paws and grooming me. Actually quite hard. Why does he do this but his brother doesn't really bother with me unless my partner isn't in.

My parents cat absolutely adores my dad and licks his ear and glasses. No one else gets this!

Our cat grooms DD2, because she is obviously the filthiest of us all. The cat also sleeps on DD2's head every night so she must like her to be clean.
