Cat is always nipping me

My cat is 5 years old and over the last 12 months she constantly nips me. She will instigate a fuss or be lying on my lap, then suddenly she nips me hard before shooting off. She doesn't do this to my husband though. Could it be a dominance thing or is she just being a cat? Thanks.

I have heard of this happening when they suddenly have had enough.
My boy occasionally nips but you usually see the warning signs like tail starting to move first. He occasionally likes to bite toes for mischief but when demanding food will also nip at legs if they do not get up and move in the direction of his food quickly enough! He knows it's naughty as he then runs off.
