Cat is miscarrying [sad]

She's not my she's my mums. She's a pedigree queen, Birman.

My mum is on holiday and the cat is staying with me. She only went to the stud a few weeks ago so it's very early.

I noticed early her stomach looked like she was contracting, she's pawing at the fluffy blanket she loves. Then I noticed bleeding. I've phoned the vet and they've said to keep an eye on her, it's early pregnancy so shouldn't be too bad.

I can't get hold of my mum, she's in Cuba, any advice?

Achh. Awful for you all. Did the vet give you any other advice?

Ohh how very sad and distressing all round. I used to breed birmans but don't have experience of miscarriage. Is this her first litter? Did the vet suggest taking her in in the morning? My instinct would be to keep her close, is she being vocal poor girl? Is she distressed, coming to you? She may need your help cleaning herself up. I'd take her straight to the vet in the morning...

Poor thing. Has the stress of the move / holiday distressed her in any way?
