Good quality wet food

I know this question has been asked many times but could do with some advice regarding my cats' diet. They are 3 and a half year old rescues and have been with us for 3 weeks now. At the rescue they were fed felix, which I have continued so as not to upset their tummies. I also give them supper of a few Royal Canin biscuits.
However, they always seem to be hungry, and I wonder if a better quality wet food would help them feel fuller. (They are up to date with worming and flea treatment)
I want to stick with wet food as I believe it helps keep them hydrated.
Any advice or recommendations very gratefully received. Thank you

Butchers Classic is a good one available from supermarkets. However, my big, greedy boy cat would eat LOADS of it and sometimes there was a lot of jelly at the bottom of the tins which he didn't like. So I've just switched to Animonda Carney from Zooplus. A smaller amount seems to satisfy his appetite and he enjoys it. My girl cat loves it too. I buy the 800g tins so I don't feel like I'm constantly opening cat food all the time!

Aldi and Lidl wet foods always seem to get good reviews and I believe are grain free / high meat. No personal experience with current cat as he's a wet food refuser! The salami sticks for cats from those supermarkets are excellent and I can fully endorse those!

Oh my, they would go mad for cat salami sticks! They are obsessed with have a very keen interest in food, I wonder if it is to do with their start in life. Thanks for the suggestions.

Interesting you should mention Lidl Weeds, the Animonda Carney appears to be a german brand. It is grain free. It goes down very well here! It actually smells quite appetising.

Quite possibly from the same factory Herman , they tend to pack under private label a lot in the industry, as well as having their own brand.

Mine is still obsessed with food one year on but I have a friend who said it took hers two years before he chilled out a bit and stopped worrying about starving, so I remain optimistic!

I feed Thrive which I would recommend, but I'm not sure you'll stop the food obsession! Obviously make sure you're feeding enough (I just check his weight isn't changing periodically) and think about splitting the food into more frequent smaller meals, as that is how cats would hunt and eat naturally (I use an automatic feeder).

I bought feringa from zoo plus and my kittens seem to be far more satisfied on that than felix. They don't seem as hungry as they did before. They still meow around meal times but not incessantly like they did before.

witchmountain oh wow two years to calm down around food! Crikey. They really are obsessed, will jump up while you're preparing food, will follow you into the kitchen every single time, will try and get into cupboards and the fridge if open. The little one will gollop down her food then try and eat the boy's food so we have to feed them separately . Could be to do with their background, we don't know much but we do know that their owner became unwell and couldn't look after them, so maybe they weren't fed as often as they needed to be.
I am going to look into all of your suggestions and see if we can transition to a more satisfying food.
