Tips for introducing a new kitten (bengal)

Hello, I posted on here for advice when I got two cats nearly two years ago and then when one sadly died :( and now I was hoping for more advice!

I have a beautiful bengal girl who will be 5 this year, and is the softest, most playful cat imaginable. DH and I never intended for her to be alone because we both work, and since her sister died it has been heart breaking leaving her in the day or (worse) when we go on holiday so we have finally bitten the bullet and after a lot of unsuccessful looking for suitable rescue cats we are getting another bengal girl kitten from a lovely family breeder. Does anyone have any advice about how to make this introduction go smoothly? The kitten is being raised among other kittens and cats so should be well socialised and our cat grew up with lots of other cats so hopefully they are both well disposed to being sociable.

I'd also love stories (and pictures!) of your happy cats who have been very happy with another being introduced!

I don't think she'd take to it, my Bengal was fine with two unrelated cats he'd known since he was 6 months but when we moved hated all other cats.

How is she if she sees a cat outside?.

She's fine, curious and never aggressive. There are three cats that live nearby and have come in our garden before and she likes to go and have a look at them. One attacked her once (luckily I was there and drove it off) but she just hid behind me and then ran inside.

She met my brother's kittens recently and was cautiously interested.

Same experience than fluffy. V territorial cats, only one could deal peacefully with other felines but even she was much more relaxed as a lone cat.

Well if she's not averse to other cats then try it. I think a moggy might be better than another Bengal, there's one on Bengal cat rescue now who's only 6 months old and getting too feisty for the adult resident moggies.
