A bit of a tangent but cat related. Do any of you follow Tom Cox on Twitter/Instagram? He writes books and has a website full of lovely writing on living in Devon, his cats, the English countryside. His lovely sweet 21year old cat, the Bear, died today. TC left a lovely tribute to him on Instagram and his website. Daft to feel so sad about a stranger's cat, but I do.

I saw this. Saw a post where he had loaded his car up with all the food etc and taken it to a shelter as it was what Bear would have wanted. Nearly sobbed. Remember doing that when we lost our old girl.
RIP Bear. Flowers

21 is a splendiferous age. Poor darling Bear, Poor Tom Cox.

The Bear was a very special cat, loved by many people.

Tom had said he would be donating from sales for the week to the rescue, and he bought a wheelbarrow full of food.

I am also very sad that the Bear is gone, sometimes I think that love is what keeps them going and he reached 21 years, so lots and lots of love.
