Cats due to go in this week to be spayed. One appears to be in season. Yowling and sticking her bum out in a most unladylike fashion
There's no reason they can't do the operation is there?

As far as I know they can but some vets might prefer not to - to wait - because the procedure might be trickier when the cat's in season. (It might cost a little more as well.) I'd phone the practice first thing to find out their views.

Thx cozie. Will be very cross if they charge more or cancel. The cats were supposed to be done several weeks ago but there was a mix up at the vets end and it had to be rebooked.
