He's soaking wet again

Apollo's just come in from the rain, wet through again. He makes me laugh as he comes through the door and announces his presence with the quietest little meow "woe is me", heads straight to his food bowl, purring his head off while looking to make sure I'm following him with a towel. When he's finished it's straight to the sofa, looking to make sure I've laid a towel down for him. He's currently sitting next to me cleaning himself, occasionally looking at me for attention. He must have crawled through a puddle as his stomach is also soaked.

One of mine comes in soaking wet to be dried off by moi and then fucks off out to get wet again. It's my own fault, did it once when she was a kitten and now she demands it every bloody time. 12 years of dry toweling the cow so she can go out and get soggy again. Grin

She also wakes me up to be dried off... le sigh

He's got you well trained Grin

I love the difference between cats and dogs. Our hounds shake and then stand still to be towelled obligingly but clearly think that humans have got this weird obsession with not being wet. (They don't mind in the least.)

Cats are different. Wink

One of mine has a special miaow for when he needs towelling Blush
And the other never knowingly gets wet, or dirty. He has no need for towel.

He's got you well trained

He certainly does.

One of mine liked to be wrapped in a towel and turned upside down. You had to rub the base of his spine with the towel. He loved it. His tail would move and then he'd start attacking it.

LOL! Snug as a cat in a towel Grin

he's so handsome!

I'm rather partial myself. Previous cat was beautiful as well. Unfortuantely we lost her to a bone tumour.

First time I was out and it was raining, Little M stood outside the neighbour's back door pitifully shouting, even though he could have come in through his cat flap into the warm. I expect he wanted a cuddle and to be dried off. I think it was his first time being properly rained on when I wasn't home, and didn't think through the nasty wet feeling of a proper soaking after prancing about in the rain. (He loves water.)

She took him in and towelled him dry. Smile

Blobby boy getting towelled. He loves being wet, it's me that worries he'll be cold and miserable.

Well, there I was thinking it was just me who was a slave to a wet cat Grin

Mine comes in from the rain and loudly demands to be dried with a towel.

And I do it, of course I do. He has me well trained.

Couldn't work out which way was up or down, until I clicked on the picture, Weeds!

Here's Little M, wrapped up in a shawl after another rainy day.
