Recommend me a cat ladder?

My lovely cat has always fed on the utility room counter ( safe from dogs) and also has his favourite bed on top of the boiler in the same room. Just recently I think he is hesitating a bit to jump so high, though still does it, but he is about 11 so I 'm wondering if I should make it easier for him. All the pet ladders I can find seem to be sofa or bed height rather than counter height - does such a thing exist?

That's actually a very good idea. Though the risk is I would keep borrowing it for around the house and forget to give it back to the cats...

Now I want a Bekvam stool! I was going to say just a step stool.

We use a sturdy garden trellis as a cat ladder. Admittedly we have it outside and the cats use it to get onto the conservatory roof (good vantage point) but you could get one that's narrow and paint it then prop it against your worksurface.
