Human face got boil

Yes I know impertinent of mere human to post re welfare in TLT, but my face has gone peculiar after Mr C scratched me a couple of weeks ago. Big red spot 1.5 cm wide, looks and hurts like blind boil.

Does anyone think I should see the doc? It was a bugger of a scratch, the little kitten's claw got caught under my nose :) and we both shrieked with vigour.

Reassurance I am being neurotic - sorry, crap week, lost job with no notice , won't be paid at Xmas, just for starters - more than welcome.

That's quite big, presumably you qualify for free prescriptions now?. I'd go.

Infections always easier to deal with when its small.

Northernlurker · 04/12/2016 19:40

Definitely GP. Cat scratches can be serious

Weedsnseeds1 · 04/12/2016 19:43

You may well have cat scratch disease ( yes, it's a real thing), so I would make GP appointment.

FretYeNotAllIsShiny · 04/12/2016 19:44

I would. Ever heard of cat scratch fever/disease? here

Hettielove · 04/12/2016 22:01

My sympathies how horrible to have lost your job like that hope all improves going in to the new year

Lanaorana1 · 04/12/2016 23:14

thanks, I will trot along and report back. Mr C has just tripped me in the kitchen on the run to steal ham, so he is in rude health at any rate.

Oh, Lana, sorry you're having a rough time. I think seeing the doc's a good idea. I'm sure Monsieur C is sorry, in his own sweet, stabby little way.

I've PMd you.
