In the fresh laundry basket!

I've just found out that my demon possessed cat Maru, has done a couple of poos in the fresh laundry. Why on earth would that spiteful cat do that? He was kind enough to made sure he layered up so it wasn't on the surface. Oh and he pissed in it too for additional oomph.

Oh no! Was he complaining that the litter tray wasn't clean enough perhaps?

Do you by any chance have that litter with the blue scented particles in? It smells exactly like washing powder, I think. Could the cat be confused?

Poor demon cat. Its not spite thats for sure. Some dcats so particular about tray being clean enough. Could it be that? Or its in the wrong place for him to feel comfortable.

Good thought about the washing scented particles. Think thats such a stupid product!

...and does clean laundry bin have lid?! Personally I dont have one of them but its probably just a more pleasant (and well hidden) choice by your clever dcat!

Now you've mentioned it, I've been trying a new type of litter filler, can't seem to get the right one as not decided between the clay or wooden pellets. We don't use the crystal ones. Perhaps he is sending me a message about this.

The laundry basket for clean clothes is one of those without the lid. I now diligently put away laundry without delay. Guess he is training me.

Awww... he's lovely (apart from the laundry pooping obviously)

I tried switching from stinky non-clumping to nice flushable clumping litter last year. Despite a carefully phased introduction to the new stuff, Mr T showed his disappointment by pissing behind the TV and on (thankfully dirty) laundry until I changed it back. Sigh.
