lots of nasty bacteria + flesh eating enzymes in the saliva.

Human bites are too. Bites are generally bad things to happen to you.

Cats wash their own arses with their tongues. Don't want their teeth pushing shitty bacteria into your skin.

Cat bites are particularly prone to infection because the long, narrow canines puncture deep into the tissues, like an injection. Anaerobic bacteria (ones that don't like oxygen) flourish there.

It's why cats get such nasty abscesses from cat fights.

Dog bites rip/tear chunks of flesh.

Sorry, yes, what bore said - while cats and dogs mouths both carry germs, cats bites tend to be worse because of the sharp narrow teeth.
Dcat bit me once when he was a kitten as I rescued him from dangling upside down by one leg caught in the blind. It was bloody painful and bled a lot but luckily no problems. Dcat was fine too!

Harry used to chew on my hand but never broke the skin. His claws have done much more damage!

Not something I have to worry about now
