We're adding one more to our ragdoll family. This one is a flame point tortie. Any suggestions?

I think a photo may be one of the rules Grin.

Ooh yes a pic please . I couldn't believe how floppy my friends rag doll was when I had a cuddle . They really are lovely .

How about Looby Loo - she was a rag doll .

lottieandmia · 12/11/2016 00:34

Thank you - here's a picture. At the moment, she looks very white as they all do until they grow older. She's a lovely little cat.

Oh Lordy Lordy! She's a cutie. A Honey, maybe? HoneyBee? CutieSquishyILoveYou? Grin.

CondensedMilkSarnies · 12/11/2016 00:47

Look at those eyes ! Beautiful X

lottieandmia · 12/11/2016 00:52

The children want to call her Luna but we already have a Coco and a Chester. So I think something ending in e would be better to make it different enough from the other two.

Honey! Honeeeeeey! She is soooo cute Smile.

HemanOrSheRa · 12/11/2016 00:58

Or would you rather a name beginning with C to match Coco and Chester?

lottieandmia · 12/11/2016 01:06

Honey is cute - I hadn't thought of that. Dd2 suggested having a C name. The breeder says she's interesting and quirky. We do love ragdolls, they are like cuddly teddies bless them.

Elspeth. (Elle or Ellie for short.) Smile

VenusRising · 12/11/2016 01:09

Saffy, short for sapphire. Those eyes are amazing.

Will she be cinnamon? She's looking cinnamon/brownish on her cold ear tips?

Hope she settles in well with the rest of your crew.

lottieandmia · 12/11/2016 01:15

Yes the breeder says she'll be flame point tortie (mitted I think)

Cherry Blossom? Cherry or CeeCee as a nickname? I suppose it depends on whether you call your pets by the official names or made up gibberish like me Grin.

lottieandmia · 12/11/2016 01:17

Thank you, so do I. Our girl is the sensitive one - nothing bothers Chester. Saying that, it only took her a day to adjust to Chester and now they are best friends. The breeder had some lovely boys too but I thought two girls and a boy might be a better balance (and girls are much cheaper to insure!)

She does have a pedigree name which we might just keep but I'm not 100% sure about it. I think usually people don't keep the official names which are mainly for registration purposes. We didn't with our others.

I want her!!!! She's gorgeous. How about Nefertiti, who was supposedly very beautiful?

More pics pease. I love ragdolls, but with 3 mogs already, even if I could afford a ragdoll it would be a while before I got one.

HemanOrSheRa · 12/11/2016 01:32

I don't think owners keep and use the pedigree names for a family pet, particularly if you have DC's.

lottieandmia · 12/11/2016 07:53

Yes I agree Heman.

Ea "Fire"
Edana "Fiery, tiny flame"
Eideann "Fiery"
Eithne "Little fire"
Enya "Little fire"

lottieandmia · 12/11/2016 21:39

Maybe it will be hard to know what to call her until we get a feel for her personality

Memoires · 12/11/2016 23:59

Edana is lovely, and v apt. Fiery, tiny flame.

jedishelly1 · 13/11/2016 00:01

Rosie, as in 'Rosie and Jim'. A lovely smiley ragdoll!
