Bonfire Night

I know not everyone agrees with keeping cats in overnight.

But tonight's Bonfire Night, plus it's the weekend, so drunken people with fireworks. Sadly, some people still think it's "amusing" to torture cats.

Also the danger of a bonfire, built over the last few weeks, which cats will creep into, cos they're nosy.

Pleeeease keep your cats in tonight?

My dcat is safely in. Loads of fireworks going off.

This is the first time in 22 years I haven't had a cat to cuddle and reassure on Bonfire Night Sad

Ah, that must be hard TroysMammy. The first anniversaries of loss are the worse, as far as I've experienced.

It will get better, lovely. Maybe this time next year you may feel ready to have a small furry to cuddle?

Thank you for your kind words.

I can't believe that it's nearly 6 months since Troy died.

His brother Barnaby was run over 3 years at the end of this month. I pass the place I found his body every day and when the leaves are falling from the trees it makes it really hard not to think of the morning I found him.
