Fur on blankets

Is there an easy way to get fur off blankets? Mainly fleecy ones.

They go in the washing machine- smell lovely and clean but covered in cat fur still.

I've resorted to wiping with my hand and then hoovering the fur that collects, but to do both sides of 5 blankets means I lose a whole bunch of time just to get the fur off.

Please tell there is an easier way... Hmm

I put them in the tumble drier before washing them.

I do sometimes use a lint roller too but seems really wasteful as it loses stickiness quickly so end up using loads of it up.

there's no easier way.

rubber gloves can help, or sometimes I use a washing up brush to swipe it off as the blankets are on the line.

If they're man made fibres, I tumble dry them. That takes hair off. (I'm leary about tumbling wool etc. Some bad experiences. Wink)

Dyson V6 animal. It's brilliant!

Yes to brushing them down wearing rubber gloves.
