Cat playing with a dead squirell

Should I be concerned at all (diseases)? I expect that he found it in the flower bed, can't imagine that he's fast enough to actually catch one himself. He does bring in mice which I can just about cope with, if he actually brought the squirrel in the house I would freak.

No idea on the diseases but don't imagine it's any worse than mice. Be glad it's dead though, a few years back I watched a cat walk along our back wall with a live squirrel, all I could say was "I'm glad that's not our cat". The legs were going like tbe clappers, the cat looked very pleased with himself.

You are very brace. I'd be burning the house down if mine brought me anything. (Or my dad would have to drive 30 miles to deal with it) fortunately my garden is enclosed and they are to thick to catch anything!
