Just wondering how often everyone brush their shorthair cats.. My cat moults a lot his only 11months old so wondered if it's from where his still growing or if I'm not brushing him enough(once a week).

His covered in loose hair that's moulted off but not fell off iyswim? I'm not phased by the cat hair getting on things more worried its normal?

He hasn't got bald patches or anything serious.

Every night if I can. (He's old so not up to doing much himself these days.) I get a tremendous amount out in his brush and - as a side benefit - he doesn't have hair ball sicks.

I try to do it as part of his evening love-in. He likes the attention as much as anything else. Wink

I have a Burmese, a shorthair breed, but because she doesn't go outside I don't notice much difference in shedding thoughout the year.

That said, I do groom her once a day with mittens and it's become part of our daily routine - she seems to enjoy it!

Your boy is gorgeous!

His coat looks lovely and glossy.

What do you feed him?
