Hello,
My cat has worms in her pooh... that's disgusting...
I have to treat her but where can I get a treatment... from the vet ? Can I get such a treatment from Boots for example ? Can I buy a product on my own without seeing a vet ?
Many thanks !

You can get drontal in pet shops. Not sure about Tesco. Tesco are likely to stick Bob Martin stuff but I wouldn't touch Bob Martin products with a barge pole so avoid those.

I think if your cat has seen a vet in the last year you can get worm tablets from them. You won't get anything for cats in Boots.
Agree do not buy Bob Martin.

Thanks ! I'm gonna try the pet shop.

I don't think stuff you buy in a pet shop will be all that effective to be honest. You'd be better at the vets.

When did she last see a vet - and how old is she? Has she had flea treatment recently as well?

(Sorry for the flurry of questions.)

Go and get a pill or spot on from the vet. You don't need to bring the cat or to pay for a consultation. You should be deworming your cat three or four times a year, especially if you have kids. The pet shop stuff may not be very effective.

Pets at Home have vets in (most?) branches, so should have decent quality de-worming available through them.
