Just told fattycat to come in from the garden, and she did. All without the aid of dreemies!! She's not the brightest so I am completely gobsmacked that she obeyed a command!! Grin

Everyone makes mistakes from time to time. She'll get her own back. Grin

Just laughed out loud at that cozie. She is now reminding me she's the boss.

She's so adorable. I do love a fluffy black cat! You can see who is in charge though, OP, and unfortunately it's not you. Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 31/08/2016 21:13

I know my place in the pecking order!

John Lewis £10. They've pulled bits out of it though!

She's beautiful OP. Of course she didn't actually do as she was told - she merely manipulated your mind so you think she did as she was told.

RubbishMantra · 31/08/2016 22:27

My 2 have exactly the same Kickaroo toy, Toddler. They go go from loving it to rabbit kicking the bejeeezus out of it. Sometimes Little M carries it sideways (imagine a dog with a large bone in it's mouth) then looks utterly confused as to why it won't fit through the door way.

Those things contain catnip. Might've tempted her in? Grin

She's gorgeous btw. I couldn't bear the extra vacuuming though.

FuzzyWizard · 31/08/2016 22:31

I bought one of those kickeroo things today. It's being delivered tomorrow so glad to hear your cats like it rubbish.

Toddlerteaplease · 31/08/2016 22:31

They only got it yesterday. They haven't seemed over bothered with it. They seem to prefer bigger toys hence why I bought it. Very disappointed that they show no interest in the duck toy hanging from the door frame though. I find it difficult to get them to play. Feeling very smug as my friend is trying to get his cats indoors and they Won't come. Here's the he other one guarding the kickeroo

Very cute!

Potentialmadcatlady · 31/08/2016 22:48

We have that toy too..one cat ignores it, one cat regularly tries to ensure it is completely dead and the dog carries it around the house in his mouth with the tail bit hanging out...I have resewn the seams at least three times so far because it's so well played with

DramaAlpaca · 31/08/2016 22:52

Your cats are gorgeous OP.

I bought Kickeroos for my two after seeing them recommended on here. They love them, even the arthritic 15 year old has great fun rabbit kicking it like mad, until he gets tired & falls asleep on top of it Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 31/08/2016 22:54

Rubbish, I was suprised to discover that long hair is easier to deal with than short as they leave it in clumps and it doesn't to clothes. I wore white trousers in hot weather with not a hair attached!

Dgirlcat is a similar ball of brown/black fur which extends through her brain too. She comes in most times as soon as she is called, if she doesn't come in she is so daft that you can just scoop her up. It's as if by the time her brain thinks 'I could stay out here a bit longer and maybe think about catching something at dusk', she is already inside and on her favourite perch. It's not as if she can't run away - she frequently does when play fighting with her brother, it's more that it just doesn't occur to her to do so.

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 31/08/2016 23:03

Agree too about the hair, get far more from our white short hair. Even her hair can't get itself organised to fall out!

Toddlerteaplease · 01/09/2016 06:36

Oh god, white short haired cats a a nightmare fur wise. We had the most beautiful white cat but was still finding his hair years after he died!
