Neighbour's cat

Our neighbour's cat has adopted us. If a window is open, he will come in. He is lovely and gentle and I have no issue with him BUT I don't want him to start thinking he lives here. Obviously I'm not going to feed him, but in the warm weather I don't want to shut Windows when we're in the house. Any suggestions? My parents had cats and until recently, when she died, one of them spent more time at the neighbour's house that at my parents' house, which upset my mum. I don't want to be the cause of similar upset to my neighbour!

Do they neighbours know? Obviously she likes hanging out at your house for some reason.

I haven't seen the neighbour for a bit. He's a single man whose DD is around every couple of weeks and plays with my DDs. He works funny hours so I don't tend to bump into him much.

She might be a bit lonely if he's out a lot. Is she well fed or skinny?

Well fed I'd say. He's quite young but looks very healthy. He's an affectionate little thing - purrs like mad and rubs around our legs. Neighbour does have two cats - we only ever see the one though.

Probably after company then.

Ok. Shan't worry then. Thanks!
