I am in bits. Totally out of character. Been up and down with food bowl and dreamies for the last hour and no sign. Shit.

When did he go out?

happystory · 15/08/2016 09:21

Does he hunt? My cat has hardly been around the last couple of weeks but we found her not far away patiently watching as she had found a mouse nest under next doors shed

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 15/08/2016 09:24

He has free rein to go in and out, but is always the first to come in for breakfast. He is a cat of habit - breakfast, a sit in the garden and then onto the bed to sleep all day. He never seems to leave the garden.

Hope little Ginge comes home soon

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 15/08/2016 15:04

Still no sign. I know it is too early to panic but I am. We lost BastardCat in a road accident in May and have had a shitty year - thought things were looking up but am spiralling...

Thinking of you...hope the wee man has turned up? Pillowcase full of Hoover dust at back/front door? Cat litter box at front/back door?

Vinorosso74 · 15/08/2016 17:00

Oh I hope he appears soon. Get home littke Ginge!

FuzzyWizard · 15/08/2016 17:03

Hope he turns up soon Flowers

PosiePootlePerkins · 15/08/2016 17:31

Oh no. Thinking of you. Hope he comes home soon.

Missgraeme · 15/08/2016 17:43

Maybe go up and some the street giving a shout and ask a few neighbours to check their garages. Maybe been locked in.

littlemissneela · 15/08/2016 17:49

I hope he is home now. They are such a worry, esp when they do something out of routine.
I take it he is an older cat, and has been done? We had a ginger tom and he wandered everywhere.

Snog · 16/08/2016 11:34

Please update, concerned for you and little Ginge.

My Ginger girl escaped yesterday (never usually wants to go outside) found under a bush Confused

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 16/08/2016 11:41

Still nothing. Have posted on FB, tweeted and had a number of walks/drives around the neighbourhood. Kids all ready to put leaflets through doors but bloody printer not working. Local vets all have details.

He is chipped and neutered. His dad, Big Ginge, is very subdued.

It's the not knowing that is killing me.

A lot of them do this on the first summer. Keep looking, it's all you can do right now.

OneLongDay · 16/08/2016 12:49

Hope you find him safely soon OP Flowers

timtam23 · 16/08/2016 13:59

So sorry to hear this, hope he comes home soon

DH and kids have leafleted our street and the surrounding houses. Going to send DH out later with a torch and some treats, and scatter Hoover bag contents in garden.

Worrying because we have a fox visiting the garden at the moment - whenever we have seen him he has been having a staring contest with the cats, and I know foxes don't usually attack cats, but you can't help wondering..

Big and Little had a lousy start in life, were confined in one very small room for a long time and then in cattery for three months. This is his first taste of freedom.

He is back! Strolled in at 2am with Big Ginge behind him! I like to think he was getting a bollocking for being out so long....

WeirdAndPissedOff · 17/08/2016 07:28

Yay! I'm so glad he's back safe and sound!
I wonder if Big Ginge brought him home?

PosiePootlePerkins · 17/08/2016 07:48

Fab newsGrin

Gatekeeper · 17/08/2016 07:51

Ohh...what a relief. They are worse than kids sometimes

FuzzyWizard · 17/08/2016 07:53

Great news!

MajesticSeaFlapFlap · 17/08/2016 07:56

I'm convinced they do this sort of thing on purpose to keep us in check.
We believe we know them and that they are good cats so they have to be arsehole every often so we know they are dangerous wild lions that we should worship
