A pregnant stray has befriended me.

On one hand I feel very chuffed and quite honoured that she has picked me out and befriended me but on the other, my sensible and rational head is thinking that it's really awkward and bad timing. I dont know what to do with her.

Well, I did have on my superdry mittens earlier trying to put down the water. They look like boxing gloves.

Tomorrow is a new day. I'll ask k for help further afield, perhaps a shelter further away from my catchment area may take her in.. I'll be prepared to bribe with reimbursed travel expenses to anyone able to make it over. Lets hope so eh.

Raining today. She seems to have calmed a little. Just a little. Growling yes, but did not try to bite my boots like yesterday. Allowed me to creep fairly near to her nest. I jyst wanted to check if their still alive. Couldn't see but heard the squeal of a least one. Hsr nest is dry thankfully. Its tucked away pretty well from the elements.
Rang another shelter, no space.

Just a thought, could you put food down and then sit in the garden with your back to her so you can protect her from other Toms and know she has eaten? It might help with her trusting you too?
