My beautiful oriental Siamese has, for the past few weeks, been coming in with various injuries, little scans on her ears and body that I can feel when I stroke her. Last week she meowed when looking at me and I was shocked to see she had lost her bottom two teeth and her lip was really swollen. I called the vet for advice and she said to just keep an eye on it. She didn't appear to be on any discomfort and was still eating.
I've come home from my parents and seen this (photo attached) and I have no idea what it is, there is no hair around it, it's almost completely smooth. Could she have done this to herself scratching? My worry is that after the tooth incident I began thinking what could have caused an injury to only her mouth and thought someone had kicked her. I know it's a big jump to assume but I have awful neighbours who absolutely hate me, the mum and the two kids, she has my cats kitten and a dog so is ostensibly an animal lover, but they are truly truly wicked people. I'm now concerned that they are harming my cat. Has anyone seen an injury like this before and can put my mind at rest that a human isn't hurting my wee girl? I'll be taking her to the vet on Monday in case she needs antibiotics as there are gouges out of her skin
