My poor kitty :(

My beautiful kitten was hit by a car yesterday and the vet thinks she's parylised to the back legs/lower back. No movement or feeling at all. She's comfortable and not in pain so they're giving her until the morning to show improvements . I think we know it's unlikely. I'm so sad. She's my first pet, I've never been a pet person. Any positive experiences / outcomes to this?

No but I didn't want to read and run. Your poor girl.

How did she get on overnight?

Oh no! Bless them! Our cat got knocked over and lost the use of her back legs but she had broken her pelvis. We had to keep her in one room for a couple of months. Hope there is better news for you this morning.

I'm sorry, I can't add any positive experiences to your's and DCat's plight.

There are vets who post on here, so I hope one will come along to give you some advice. All I can offer is a hand-hold.

This happened to my cat and she couldn't move her back legs for a week then all of a sudden she could - it was nerve damage and she couldn't move her tail after the accident ever but she was fine otherwise.

I really hope everything's ok

We have had to have her put down today. So sad x

I'm sorry. Recently lost my own cat and didn't expect to feel such grief, its horrible.
