help me out with sage advice please?

We have a name for the new kitten, and collect her in four weeks, when she's ready to leave mum.
Tell me everything in words of one syllable please.
We have always been a doggy family, and never had a cat before.
How often do we feed her, and how many treats should she get?
I have the vet all arranged for immunisation and a microchip so that's under control
I don't think I stressed this much when I was pregnant tbh...
Advise me!

As adult cats their feeding can be fit around your routine - as long as they get the right quantity of food per day. (Most food packaging gives instructions).
As kittens I'd advise little and often - they have small tummies but huge appetites!
If you change their food you should do it gradually as they can get upset tummies.
Treats should be used sparingly (though we spoilt ours a bit!). Make sure they're suitable for kittens as most treats are adult-only.

Have you seen a vet re flea and worming? Fleas are usually not much of a problem before they go outside, but they can have worms from birth. (Symptoms bloated tummy and diarrheoa).

It's a good idea to have somewhere kitten-proof for them to go while they're unsupervised for the first couple of months, as ayou'd be surprised what they can get into! (Power cables and curtains being common favourites).

Overall, try not to stress too much - they can be little terrors but it's pretty easy to pick up kitten care as you go along!

They have periods of total hperactivity and knock themselves out just like toddlers.

She is all black, with blue eyes, and DD has decided to name her Emo Noodle for absolutely no apparent reason!

I'm bottle feeding this kitten who was found abandoned at a few hours old. She's now almost 5 weeks

Feed a kitten 3-4 small meals a day, I wouldn't worry about treats for now. I always have small kittens in a pen unless I'm with them, they get into the tiniest places and actively try to kill themselves by chewing electric cables etc

Get a fishing rod style toy - they love to practise chase/stalk/pounce behaviour

They go berserk for short periods, then sleep for a few hours

I don't let kittens out until at least 6 months - vaccinated and neutered
