Arghh, wee on sofa

Had problems with this when I first adopted my babies but settled after a couple of months. It's not happened in six months. Went away for two nights and had two people coming in to see to them and play with them. (Cats don't know either of them well). Got lots of affection from the when I got home last night: came down this morning to a wet patch on the sofa. Never had this when I e been away before. Don't understand why they've done it when I've come home.

My cat does this - sofa and/or bed. It's really really annoying.
I posted about it recently and got some good advice...

Punishment wee?

She's now done it 3 times in 24 hours. I've cleaned the litter tray and she is using it so it's not that. It could be a punishment wee but I've never had that before when I've been away. She seems OK in herself. Though maybe they are both a bit jumpy. The last time it happened was 6 months ago after having several visitors, maybe she's objecting to the choice of cat sitters as they weren't her usual one.

Might be a trip to the vets then. Ours gets stress cystitis, the only symptom is he wees in the house while looking you in the eye. He still wees outside when he's got it.

You could put them on zylkene next time you're going away. Amazon and pets at home.

Thanks. I've been away for a week before and she's never done this. But they've had their usual cat sitter previously. They are still a little funny with strangers. So wonder if two unfamiliar people is just too much. Will go to vets later. Will try zykelene next time.
