Spraying- help!

Cat got into a scrap yesterday evening, big howls and then zoomed into safety via the cat flap.

Today I was in the bedroom and he started howling, couldn't work out what was wrong and then he turned and sprayed up the wall and then on our bed spread!!!

I sprayed Feliway every where, fed him his favourite treats and he slept all afternoon.

A minute ago he looked out of the kitchen window and his tail shot up like he was going to spray again so I whipped the blind down and distracted him and he stopped.

Is he marking his territory because he feels threatened? What can I do to help him feel better? He's a little cat and there has been a big tabby who keeps prowling round looking threatening I chuck water over him but he still comes back

He's neutered btw.

I don't want a smelly house!

Yes, he's insecure in his territory.

Zylkene helps calm them down. Poor boy must be distressed.

What's zylkene?

It's a milk protein in capsule form. It calms them down when their stressed.

Pets at home sell it.

I'll get some, thank you Flowers
