Every day the same ginger cat is caught in the act of weeing and pooing on our new and in the soil of hopefully bushes that will become a hedge. So far he has killed one bush. Would chicken wire around the bushes help. Other ideas are bark on the soil. Love some more suggestions please as these bushes were not cheap!

I can commiserate, but not help.

My 2 boys killed my lavender, then moved on to the honeysuckle, which was doing beautifully.

Just had a thought, what about those slate chips you can buy from garden centres to cover the exposed soil? Cats don't like digging around in it, uncomfy on the paws.

*And you can buy something called Get Off (or something like that).
