Merlin has well and truly made himself at home over the last week and a bit. He's found himself 2 hidey holes where the dc can't bug him. He's had his first vaccinations, 2nd and chipping is booked. He's also had a flea treatment and wormer thanks to the vet. They all went quite gooey over him and he was good as gold. Although turned his nose up at the proffered dreamies treat from the vet.
Merlin has a cracking purr on him. I get it every morning when I come down and every evening when he comes to snuggle up with dh and I. He also has the maddest moments ever. Merlin loves his toys and playing with us all.
Merlin has learnt to use the flap on his litter box, which is great for us. He's such a gentle kitten too. His nips and scratches are reserved for playing with mummy and daddy, or when one of the kids leaps at whoever is holding him and spooks him. But he's soon back on a lap and purring his head off.
As he's growing, his dad's tabby markings are starting to show through. Although he still has his gorgeous blue/ grey colouring.
I am so glad Merlin came into our lives. He is just the perfect kitten for our family.
