Mewler has a winky eye. It's looks a little red around the bottom edge and a bit weepy as I can see some stuff on the fur nearby. Can I buy something to help, should I just leave it to recover or should I take her to the vet (££££?!!). Advice appreciated

Try bathing in tepid boiled water, and if no improvement in, say, 24 hours Pets at Home have an in-house vet (Vets 4 Pets), if your usual vet's not open sunday/bank holidays.

Could just be an eyelash/hair or grit, which hopefully the bathing should get rid of.

Thank you so much. I will do that. It hasn't got any worse and doesn't seem to be bothering her so hopefully she will recover with a bit of TLC. Flowers
