About to rescue a kitten...help!

A woman in my area has posted on FB that she has an abandoned kitten that her daughter brought home. She can't look after it so it'll be out in the cold tonight. I'm about to go and collect it.

I have one cat which we got when we bought a house and the owner left her behing last year...she's quite old and independent, so I'm not sure what to do with the kitten. I'll have to find a home, but for tonight, am I safe trying her on some Whiskas cat milk?

Can't hurt can it. I'd put the kitten in the bedroom on a bed with food etc.

If she's really small could she go in a cat box with food and an improvised litter tray. I've done that before to keep really small kittens safe overnight

How is she today? And where are the pictures?????

cozietoesie · 27/04/2016 09:25

She was going to leave a kitten outside?

magicstar1 · 27/04/2016 20:46

I don't think she'd have left it outside, she just didn't know what to do. I kept him overnight and my local vet took him for rehoming today. They'll look after him well.

Omg that kittens gorgeous. Why don't I get offered free kittens? Sad

Didn't you feel tempted to keep it?.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 27/04/2016 20:59

What a gorgeous little kitten!

Why can't people give me kittens!?

redcaryellowcar · 27/04/2016 21:18

He's gorgeous, makes me want a kitten! (I'd not leave him outside)

magicstar1 · 27/04/2016 21:55

I'd have loved to keep him, but we're both out at work all day, and it wouldn't have been fair. I got a bit teary handing him over today Blush

Oh! He'd have caused tears here too. Adorable little squidge.
