cat peeing in corners

My cat who is 12 has started to pee in corners around the downstairs. She has two litter trays and usually uses them. Any ideas of why and how to get her to stop?

I think the vet is your first call, mine had a uti which made him wee in the house. He wasn't showing any other signs of infection.

I'd also suggest the vet. It could be something has upset her, but can often be as a result of urine infection, cystitis (painful) or other condition which are best ruled out/treated.

Yeah if this is out of character then vet is first port of call. Especially as she is old.
