Just after some sympathy or wise words from any of you really. Posted couple of weeks back as we discovered our cat is diabetic. This followed her having triaditis last year and surgery to remove her gall bladder, flush out bile duct and biopsy liver, pancreas and small intestine. She recovered brilliantly and was doing well until recently.
We had some further tests results back from the vets today and she is also deficient in vitamin B12 so needs weekly injections for the next 6 weeks. She's currently on a (nearly finished) 2 week course of tablets as her liver parameters were elevated again though not too bad.
Until last year she had no problems but it's one thing after another. She's a lovely girl but how much more can the poor cat take?!
I'm not thinking of PTS or anything as we're nowhere near that point but do wonder how much more can go wrong or how much more she can take. She's 13 and I can accept she's not likely to live until 20 but do wonder what more we can do for her
