Update on cat trying to move in

A couple of weeks ago I [posted about a black cat that seemed to want to move in.

Well it hasn't. It appears well looked after, just friendly.

It will cry outside for Her Mistyness, using a very similar call to Her Mystynes's 'hungry' sound.

It occasionally comes in and sits on the windowsill with her.

I tried to get a pic but because it was dark he/she looks like it has demon eyes.

It has not been close enough to touch yet - not skitish of cats but a bit of humans but I will try the paper collar to see if it has an owner if it will let me.

Oops forgot very poor photo - taken from my bed without glasses.

So your girl is OK with the other cat visiting?

sashh · 09/03/2016 06:41

Cosie

Yes, apparently.

Normally a cat comes near the open window and she cases it out (unless she is asleep). Any other cat she sees in the garden is chased off.

This one she just rubs noses with!

I don't think I have ever had a cat with a friend before.

It can be a little unnerving at first because you're on tenterhooks waiting for some 'change' in behaviour. It can happen though.

Sounds as if you're away. Smile

PS - but just in case, be very disciplined about her 'preventatives' - fleas, worms, shots etc. He may look well cared for but there's no real telling. Wink
