Should I get a rescue kitten?

I have a 2 year old male, neuteured cat. I've had him for nearly 2 months. I've been thinking about getting a female kitten from a local rescue, but I'm not sure if boycat will be happy with this.

Previous owner says that he ignores cats but i'm not sure what he'd be like with a kitten. Do you think this would be a good idea or not?

It's one of those wait and see things I think.
We got a kitten when my very grumpy cat was about 10. Grumpy cat hated the kitten for nearly a year but now they are the best of friends, we just had to persevere with it.
