We've had our share of cat trees. I would say the 1st, as we have found that any like the other 3, where there is a pedestal at the top, supported by one leg, becomes loose and wobbly REALLY easily. The first one you have here in connected by a cross piece. Or have a look a ceiling trees, as the leg braces the whole thing between the ceiling and floor and is more stable.

Something like this maybe. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Multi-Level-Kitten-Cat-Tree-Scrat-Post-Plush-Sisal-240-260cm-Ceiling-High-/301879869900?var=&hash=item46497141cc:m:mM7NeQP77AX6_KQnjivizcQ

Pick one that comes in a decent size box. At home, pull everything out of the box and push it to one side. Spend several hours putting together the cat tree, with help form your furry friends. Once it is done, stand back proudly with camera poised. Watch them head straight for the cardboard box and curl up in there.

I have this one. Was easy to put together and seems sturdy. Cat mainly sits on the biggest platform

Hmm, would you say cat trees are a waste of money then?

Honestly mine would have been just as happy with a high shelf I think. But i haven't had it long and he's a bit of a wimp when it comes to exploring new things!

Spot the cat Hmm

Help me pick a cat tree!
kickassangel · 25/02/2016 22:33

ours only sit on the top layer. all other layers are just there as steps. but the cats do love it, so get a fairly simple one. and a box.

FlowersAndShit · 25/02/2016 22:38
