My cat is missing his brother.

We have two 9month old brothers. They are inseparable normally. On Saturday Opie went missing from the garden, we are doing everything to try and find him. Posters, Facebook posts etc. We are worried sick about him as you can imagine.

Jax (his brother) is so upset, he is wandering around the house calling for him all the time. He is normally an affectionate little boy but doesn't want cuddles or fuss. He is still eating but is obviously distressed.

What should we be doing to help Jax? He isn't settling at night, he has never been separated from Opie before. I have been up since 4 am with him today.

Other than be there for him, there's not much you can do. We lost a cat in November and one of ours is still grieving.

So sorry to hear this. As the kitten went missing on a Saturday it's possible someone was doing some gardening and went in their shed and your boy snuck in when they weren't looking. One of mine did this years ago and was gone for 5 days. When she came home she had paint on her paws and smelt like a shed - if that makes sense Don't give up hope. I know it's awful when they go missing so I really feel for you x
