I am very sad to tell you that we had to have our 18 year old Tonkinese Haggis put to sleep yesterday. He had sudden catastrophic kidney failure, he was so very ill so quickly yet only last week we were rejoicing because he and the kitten were getting along so well. Haggis had even started to play again. He had been a bit depressed since his sister died in October but had picked up since we got Trevor. It feels strange not to have our lovely boy jump on the bed this morning. He even managed to come in very slowly and painfully yesterday. We will miss him so much.
