I love my cat, but she can be SO annoying. She'll strech out on the stairs and refuse to move or turn belly up and the roll off, she follows me around meowing but doesn't want anything. She wants to come in the living room, nope she's changed her mind and then meows pitifully she's been shut out. She'll copy my toddler- she started climbing on chairs and the window sill after she watched him Hmm Confused.

So I'd like to hear what other people put up with.

BinCat curls up in the crook of my knees and will refuse to move until morning. I don't realise she has done this until I go to turn over and can't.

Mine does this as well. She lies between me and the right edge of the bed while I sleep on the left side, which is fine. Only when she doesn't want me to sleep anymore, she goes over to the other side of the bed so that I can't turn over properly so am awake. I pick her up and place her back on her side of the bed but, most times, she waits until I've fallen asleep again and repeats the manoeuvre.

Now that it's getting lighter in the mornings, it's approaching the time when it's brighter before my alarm goes off at 7 am which means that anytime before that is "Getting up time" according to her body clock.

She's a clever little minx though. I've noticed that she jumps off the bed as soon as "What it says in the papers" is over as she knows I'll switch off the radio and get up to sort out her breakfast - so she must have it timed exactly in her little head.

Every time I have a bath she sits on the toilet behind me and just cries the whole time, if I shut the door she scratches it and really bawls. Not so relaxing!

BigBoyCat swishes his massive tail and smashes the bedside lamps on to the floor every so often. Angry

OldBoyCat drinks from my glass of water on the bedside table or dips his paw in and knocks it over. Considering switching back to a bottle...

He also goes mental if there is a fly in the room, even if it those really tiny things, more like midges. He will squawk at it for ages.

So we have to kill them for him and now have a dedicated swatter. He has just now had his first proper fly and he finished it off on the kitchen floor. He is going to go apoplectic in the summer

One of my boys will sit either on my pillow or bedside table early morning and pat my head and back with his paw until I wake up. I kind of love it 😄

Girl cat shits in the cellar if you leave the door ajar and she can hook it open.

The cellar walls are crumbly (old building) and she thinks the resulting deposits of loose render by the walls in places make a perfect, dry, convenient, private litter tray for her Hmm

She is a total princess and thinks she should not have to get her paws wet when relieving herself like any old cat. We have plenty of garden for her to do her business in but no, she prefers the cellar Angry

Sits staring at me waiting for food, silently.

Sniffs at offered food, fucks off out. It's not like he's ever gone hungry because I've refused to feed him when he comes home.

I call it banking.
