We moved house 3 months ago and have been completely adopted by next door's cat. We don't feed him but he spends about half his time in our house. These aren't the best photos but give you an idea. He has a noticeably 'squashed' face and is long haired

British shorthair?

Room101isWhereIUsedToLive · 13/02/2016 12:06

What colour are his eyes?

MissHooliesCardigan · 13/02/2016 12:18

His eyes are sort of yellow, I'd say. He's super friendly but doesn't seem very bright.

Yes, a British Blue shorthair I would say. My first born was a blue, had him for 15yrs, still miss him.

Having googled, I'd say British short hair although he isn't a 100% match. And why are they called short hairs when their fur is really long. He's just an enormous bundle of fluff.

He's gorgeous. Smile An older cat I think?

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/02/2016 15:44

Can't you ask them? Do they go out all day?.

RubbishMantra · 13/02/2016 17:15

I'd vote Exotic Short hair, (like a Persian with shorter hair)

Like Fluffy says, can you ask his owners what the situation is, ie. does he have a catflap, or do they just shut him out all day?
