Internet pet pharmacies

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with internet pet pharmacies?

I've recently rehomed a 6/7yr old cat. The last time I owned/ was enslaved by a cat was pre-internet (and my parents paid!). I'm wondering if there are any significant savings to be made on prescription items and annual stuff like flea/ worming treatments?

Mr Gingerpuss is currently in good health but I suppose I'm planning for the future.

He's not up-to-date with his boosters and research tells me I need to start from square one. I'll be calling round some vets tomorrow for quotes (plus microchipping). He is neutered Smile

Vets4Pets seems to offer a lifetime vaccs programme for £99 but I sense there is a catch Hmm

I have a vet practice which generally charges fairly - and also has good stock control and reputable sources. I probably pay a little more for meds than if I were to obtain a prescription and Internet-order but I've read some fairly horrific studies on dodgy Internet pet meds so buying from my vet gives me more confidence. That's just me though.

I order Synoquin, a supplement for my cat's joints, from Animed Direct:

I've had a good service from them so far.
