Can people give some thoughts on the best wet food for cats? I am looking for something fairly decent with a high meat content etc. TIA

Can I lurk? Can't find a food my cats will eat that doesn't um make them fart!

Thrive.

Expensive, but the highest meat content i could find. I buy it in bulk from zooplus.

If you're looking for mid-range, affordable, easily available... then Feline fayre (only black packets/tins are complete) and hilife tempt me are good.

Applaws/Almo nature/Lily's kitchen are even better but much more costly. Also some of them are not complete foods so be careful with those.

Natures menu is pretty good. Mine likes the country hunter stuff

Someone on here recommended Butcher's Choice to me. We're only on tin 1, but seems to be going down well.

Harry will only eat Wainwrights tuna pouches which are around 45% tuna. I've tried him on various other things but no luck. Before he broke his jaw he would only eat James Wellbeloved dry food. I'm hoping he will eat it again one day as we've got bags of the stuff!

I only fed Butchers tinned food, it's either Classic our Choice, I'll check when I'm home, but it's got high meat content, no wheat added, my three cats love it and thrive on it - and it's not expensive, works out about £0.42 per tin I think.

Talulaley · 05/02/2016 09:10

Just checked, it's Butchers Classic.

Itsalwayssunny · 05/02/2016 13:31

Thanks for all the suggestions!

You're right Talula, it is called Butcher's Classic, not butcher's choice.
