He bit me!

My boy cat loves kneading his blanket and goes into a trance like state. He was sitting next to me on his blanket kneading and as I went to pet him he made a chirp/trill sound and bit me, with his eyes wide and creepy. Now his backside is shaking up and down. He's neutered, so wtf is he doing?

He loves you a lot, seriously he is exhibiting pleasure (not sexual) this is within the realms of normal cat behaviour just most cats don't go the whole hog.

Quite a few of mine bite, they get pleasure from it - shame we don't

Sounds as if he was having a 'moment' . (Some cats do even when they're neutered.) Try to distract him next time you see the signs - no physical contact like stroking etc, just some games.

It might not work though.

Haha! This is my first cat so I'm still getting used to him and his weird ways. I shouted at him (mostly out of fear) when he went to bite me and he stopped straight away and went to sleep. The chirping/trilling noise he does though is adorable.

Think of the bite and not the chirping. Many a female cat may have been soft-soaped by a handsome bit of stuff but I doubt it ends up being much fun for them.

My cat likes to grab my hand on occasion when I stroke his tummy. Sometimes he bites it and sometimes he licks it like a dog!

My ginger boy chews my hair and purrs when he wants me to get up and feed him. He seems to know when it's 7am so I don't need an alarm clock.

My neutered male used to go like that when he was shagging the duvet. They can still have residual sexual feelings even if they're neutered. He used to do it when he was stressed.

He's really creeping me out so I've hidden the blanket - he only seems to do it on this very soft blanket. He goes into a trance like state and stares at me with his eyes really wide - like he's going to attack/eat me. He does these weird meows too.

My cat had a soft fur like blanket I'd fold on my bed for him. I often saw him humping it. I left the room to give him some privacy

Morph used to hump 'Bear in the Big Blue House' DS2's soft toy...he would grab it by the neck and really go at it. (he was neutered of course) It was quite disturbing to watch...like I'd stumbled on cat porn!

In the end I had to get rid of Bear
